Bollywood fraternity is all excited about Christmas and planning to celebrate it in a different way this year. Read below:
Saif Ali khan : Yes, we do celebrate Christmas. This year during the festival, I’m trying to relive warm childhood memories with a big decorated Christmas Tree, presents under it, lots of light and the family atmosphere. But even with all these celebrations, in India, Diwali is essentially our Christmas.
John Abraham: “More than anything else, it’s a great occasion to do something good, something meaningful for people to make them happy. And yes, it’s also about some yummy food. For me, Christmas is probably that one time in the year when I allow myself to pig out on anything chocolate. That can be chocolate cakes, brownies, pudding… Ah, and how can I forget chocolate Christmas pudding, that great, traditional Christmas dessert! Well, as long as it’s about chocolate, it’s okay with me.”
Abhay Deol : Christmas is a time to celebrate. It’s also essentially a family time. Christmas for me is a time for family. I’ll probably be spending the evening with my nephews and nieces and family. I am looking forward to celebrating the festival with near and dear ones. That’s what festivals are all about for me.
Asin: “I’m upset I can’t go home for Christmas this year. Christmas is not so much about parties for me but I do give ample importance to the spirit of the festival. It is a time to remember the Lord and it also a time to spread the message of joy.We distributed gifts amongst ourselves,’’ she laughs. “I try my best not to shoot on Christmas because it is family time.”
Genelia D’Souza: “Life has been hectic and I’ve been shooting back-to-back outdoors. But Santa heard my prayer and brought me home in time for Christmas. Right since childhood, I haven’t missed out on a single midnight mass with my folks. And last night, we offered our prayers at St Peter’s and St Anne’s Church in Bandra.”
Celina Jaitly : Christmas in our family is very special. I remember being told the story that in 1962 my grandfather who was missing in the Indo-China war came back over Christmas. It’s a very special occasion for our family. I will be celebrating Christmas with my family, like always.
Amrita Rao : Christmas is an occasion I look forward to every year, as it a perfect opportunity for me to break away from my daily routine and consciously spread happiness and love around me. I have always celebrated Christmas with great fervour and I believe that the warmth and joy of Christmas, brings us closer to each other. This year, I am planning to spend my Christmas with family and close friends over quiet dinner.
Shazahn Padamsee : For me Christmas is spending time with my family. Giving a receiving a lot of gifts, decorating the house with Xmas decorations and of course hosting our annual Padamsee xmas bash!
The five-star hotel where she is performing on December 31, is also hosting her private party on its premises the same night. Bipasha Basu is perhaps the only actress who has managed to get a good price for her performance at a surburban five-star hotel on December 31 this year. While unofficial sources claim it’s a whopping amount (almost two crore for 15 minutes) Bipasha herself remains tight-lipped about it. In 2007, she got paid Rs 90 lakh for her New Year’s performance at another five-star hotel for 15 minutes.
When asked about the remuneration, Bips says, “All I will say its great money and they have offered me the same deal that I got two years ago with another hotel. And it’s been two years, so the rates would have gone up. Naturally the amount has to be very big or I wouldn’t be doing it.” The actress will have two entries in two grand outfits and will performing to her hit songs. She adds, “I might even do some songs from the ’70s.”
When asked if it was a come down from the hotel she performed at two years ago, she asks, “I can’t keep performing at the same hotel every year. It’s a 5-star hotel, credible, they pay me good money and there are nice people associated with it. Apart from that, John and his family and our friends will also come for the event and we will have our own party there. The hotel has agreed to host our party too.

Sonam Kapoor talks about all her co-stars till date and how they are different from each other. Read below:
Ranbir Kapoor
My chemistry with Ranbir is special. Ranbir will also always be the most special co-star in my life because he is my first hero. After Saawariya I was offered a couple of films with him but if we haven’t worked together, it is because I’ve decided that when we do team up it must be for something sensational. I don’t want to do a multiple heroine project with him. Both of us must have equal parts.
Imran Khan
Shooting for I Hate Luv Stories is a riot. Imran and I are like two puppies always getting at each other. Our pairing is similar to the Dimple Kapadia-Rishi Kapoor one in Bobby. We’re both young, we’re constantly pulling each others’ legs on the set. It’s a young, fun pairing that is vibrant.
Abhay Deol
He’s a fabulous performer. Aisha wouldn’t be the same without Abhay in it. He keeps feeding me humus with carrots/cucumber. And I find our chemistry similar to the Julia Roberts-Richard Gere one in Pretty Woman. Abhay is more mature and grounded than I am. Also he is very intelligent. I love spending time with him on sets.
Abhishek Bachchan
Well, what can I say? I think I played the perfect Bittu to him in Delhi 6. We haven’t been offered any other film together as yet. Those reports that I was offered Ashutosh Gowarikar’s Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se before Deepika Padukone signed it, are untrue. Of course, I’d love to work with Abhishek again.

On the 26th November 2008, ten terrorists hijacked Mumbai, they gunned down innocent people at Taj, CST and Nariman House at Colaba. A year later Mumbai’s spirit although bruised is still intact. Check out what ourBollywood stars have to say about the new India that has emerged post 26/11:
Shah Rukh Khan:I am feeling more Indian after 26/11. I’m happy to witness the new movement that’s gripping India to bring about change. For peace in our nation, there needs to be peace in our hearts.
Nita Ambani:Post 26/11, my children asked me, ‘Will this happen again?’ It will not, if we are determined. Zero-tolerance should be our response to acts of terrorism.
John Abraham:It hurts me deeply when I see the kind of security an undeserving politician gets and I’m speaking as a normal citizen… because I am a normal citizen.
Bipasha Basu:I hope the government will be responsible enough and act now. We pay taxes and as a responsible citizen, I am questioning where’s the money going? I need an answer…
Akshay Kumar:We the People’ can save our country, no one else… We are respected for our strength and our humble hearts, let’s do the right thing — fight for peace, not war.
Priyanka Chopra:To the younger generation, I implore you… don’t accept mediocrity, don’t aid corruption, be vigilant and above all, participate in our collective future.
Sanjay Dutt:We cannot continue to have such a facile approach towards terrorism… The attack has not only united us to fight terrorism but all kinds of evil.
After patching up with Katrina, Bipasha is on her way to patch up with Vidya Balan too. The actresses were neck to neck after rumours of John Abraham’s crackling chemistry with Vidya Balan on the sets of Salaam–e-Ishq way back in 2007.
It was rumored that despite Nikhil Advani called cut for an intimate scene under a dupatta, John and Vidya continued to remain inside the dupatta for at least a minute before coming out of it.
Apparently then Bips was so furious with Vidya that she warned John against working with Vidya ever again. But now she is on a patch up spree so she decided to bury the hatchet and extend an olive branch to Vidya.
According to sources, when Vidya arrived at a party thrown to celebrate the success of All The Best, Bips got up and gave Vidya a warm welcome.
Confirming the story, a source told a news daily, “Bipasha just went up to Vidya and hugged her. Later, John too spoke to Vidya.”
Talking about Vidya, Bips told the news daily, “I never had any problem with Vidya. Many ridiculous stories are printed every day in the media. I don’t change my attitude towards people according to them.”
Katrina Kaif replaces Priyanka Chopra in Tarun Mansukhani’s Dostana sequel starring Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham, reports Filmfare. Dostana 2 will be Katrina’s second film with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, and with co-star John Abraham, after the 2009 release of New York.

Priyanka Chopra and Bobby Deol were shown ending up as a happy couple in Dostana so the gay duo, John and Abhishek, move on to a new girl. The film will additionally star Ritesh Deshmukh and Shreyas Talpade.

Director of Blue, Anthony D’Souza’s flick Blue has not hit the theaters and he has started planning for his next flick, he is planning to make a flick with Garam Masala pair Akki and John.
D’Souza says, “Akshay was on board for the next project from the word go. After ‘Blue’, I can’t dream of making a film without him. ‘Blue’ couldn’t have been made without Akshay. As for John, it’s strange that with his physique and body language he has never done a full-on action film.”
“If I was a member of the audience, I’d want to see the two together in the kind of stunts never seen before.”

Don’t panic folks, John has not married girlfriend Bipasha in secret, it’s his love for biking that makes him beleive that he is married to bikes.
John says, “I love motorcycles, I am married to them and I have had a honeymoon period with them. I don’t let anyone sit on my bikes or touch them.”
John is so protective about his bikes that girlfriend Bipasha doesn’t sit behind him on his bikes.
John adds,”Bipasha doesn’t like sitting behind me on bikes as I keep complaining about the bike getting scratched or damaged.”
Bollywood star John Abraham will soon be back in action, and is all set to work in an action flick. According to sources.
He and his body and penchant for being a daredevil, John could very well have been the successor to Akshay Kumar.
But John was busy trying out different roles and has not done an out-and-out action film for a while now.
John even made a statement that he’d love to do an action film for his fans, but nothing has caught his fancy till now.
News is that he has finally agreed to do an action film with a first-time director who was introduced to him by Anurag Kashyap.
One cannot deny the fact that the audience loved the onscreen pairing of Bollywood’s hottest celebrities John Abraham and Katrina Kaif in their recently released ‘New York’.
Also the rumours about their clandestine affair during the shoot of New York have been doing the rounds lately.
Though they both ardently deny it but what cannot be denied is that Katrina’s relationship has not been the same with her beau Salman Khan since then.
Latest is that the director of ‘Dev D’ Anurag Kashyap has signed John Abraham for his next film.
Buzz is that the director is making a series of films based on life in Mumbai and officially John is the only one signed up officially.
