Amitabh Bachchan was at Chennai for recent fecilitation ceremony, prior to the ceremony exhausted Big B dozed off in the hotel and woke up disoriented.

Director of Paa, Balki who was accompanying Big B said, , “He was fine. He finally had some sleep. You’ve to understand that this is no ordinary human being. Amitji is a miracle. He can continue working non-stop without sleep. Last week, he was running around getting the premiere in place. Then on Friday morning he left to shoot for Bigg Boss without any sleep after the premiere. After shooting the entire day in Lonavla he attended the Bombay Times party and then on Saturday early morning he left for Chennai. At an age when a lot of us will be in a rocking chair he is still rocking.”

A friend of Big B says, “After two major health scares recently, Amitji has refused to slacken his pace. Except for the break he took to be with Amar Singh in Singapore earlier this year, he has been working round the clock.

If Amitabh Bachchan has shown the way, could bahurani Aishwarya Rai Bachchan be far behind? Big B pulled off the role of a 13-year-old kid suffering from progeria for his Balki directed film with a unbelievable transformation through prosthetic make-up and now Ash in her forthcoming Vipul Shah movie Action Replay is going through an equally elaborate makeover to look like an old lady for some scenes.

Apparently even Ash is being given her look by well-known Hollywood make-up artists and the process takes between 4-5 hours. While Amitabh’s Auro was perfected by Christien Tinsley (The Passion of the Christ) and Dominie Till (The Lord Of The Rings trilogy), Ash is getting help from Paul Pattison who has earlier styled Mel Gibson for Braveheart and Tom Cruise for Mission Impossible.

An insider discloses, “The film is most probably about time travel and Ash will be seen playing an old lady in a portion of the movie. She had to patiently give over four hours to get the desired look  which took many prior sittings just to be finalised. It was an everyday ordeal to first put on and then remove the make-up. Bachchan too went through a similar experience. But Ash was on time regularly for these sessions.”

SRK attended Amitabh Bachchan’s Paa premiere along with his family. Big B gave a special autograph to SRK’s daughter Suhana.

After seeing Paa, SRK said, “What Bachchan Sahab has done in Paa is awesome. One is really looking forward to seeing it. It’s going to be immensely entertaining.””I think it’s a great learning experience for me as an actor. I have seen R Balki’s work. With Abhishek and Vidya, there are other nice and wonderful actors in the film. So it will be a great experience for me as well.”

Aamir was also spotted with his 3 Idiots team at the premiere.

The latest buzz around town is that Kareena Kapoor has been offered an astounding sum of Rs 10 crorers for the Golmaal 3 bollywood flick. If reports are to be believed then this will make Bebo dear the highest paid actress in bollywood.

It was just a little while ago when it was reported that Priyanka Chopra was offered Rs 6 crores for the yet to be released Pyar Impossible. That had created quite a stir amongst the film circle as the amount was earlier unheard of as far as the actresses were concerned.

To match the whopping amount it was Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who had also been offered Rs 6 crores down South for a movie. Om Puri’s controversial biography – Unlikely Hero written by his wife Nandita was unveiled by Amitabh Bachchan recently. The book reveals everything about Om’s life including his sexual encounters.

Om Puri was recently angry with his wife Nandita for highlighting only his sexual encounters in the book.

Talking about the controversy Nandita said, “The book is about Om, the man and the actor. Om has all the human foibles, just like all of us. He had sex as an adolescent with his maid and then he had a long liaison with the other lady who was also a maid. This was his way of coming out of his other relationships and demolishing class differences. If Om has any objection to her being called a maid he’s just being unrealistic.”

Vidya Balan is feels honored that she got to play the role of megastar Amitabh Bachchan’s mother in Balki’s Paa.

Vidya tells, “After this role, I can proudly tell my children and grandchildren that Big B was my first child. Not even in my wildest dreams had I thought of playing mother to the living legend of the industry.”

Vidya further adds, “It was an humbling experience to work with Bachchanji. This is a very special movie for me.”

Big B gets to romance yet another young girl after Nandita Das, Tabu, and Jiah Khan, and this time he has Lara Dutta to play his lady love.

He will be seen in Pritish Nandy’s next movie ‘The Actor’ where he plays the title character as Ashmit Bhargava who is a top star and the movie is said to be based on the actor’s life.

However, the movie won’t be solely based on the pair’s relationship. “The age factor is of no consequence to the plot,” said Nandy, “It won’t even be mentioned in passing, they’re just a happy couple.”
